Strange match, that one on Saturday at the Tardini... despite Inter being
at the head of the table, the first team to have a clear chance on goal was
Parma with Bonny who let himself be hypnotized by the nerazzurri keeper. Then,
Inter went ahead but the goals were born out of mistakes, with the first
arriving from an inadvertent touch by Hernani and the second with a mistake by
Almqvist. When all seemed lost, however, the character of a squad reborn came
to the forefront. Parma, who put an Inter team on the ropes that was perhaps
tired from so many games in a week, played a brilliant second half; at the
end, Parma was about to have its apotheosis with Pellegrino's great
opportunity. Well done boys!
PPC Alternate Councilor Paolo Cadoppi's Comment
Last Saturday, a careful and courageous Parma in the second half
brought Inter down from Olympus. In the last minutes, from the Curva Nord, I
saw an Inter team that was attacking with agitation and little lucidity, also
due to the merit of Parma's reborn defensive solidity implemented by Chivu.
Possibly, judging by the final reaction, Parma even deserved the victory;
however, with this fourth positive result in a row, the crusaders can
consolidate their position in the standings and have less fear for their
remaining games. Forza Parma!
PPC Alternate Councilor Luca Vitali's Comment
After a slightly muted first half, Parma was rebuilt in the second half
thanks to a good game and winning grafts. With Bernabe and Ondreika, Parma
managed to achieve an excellent draw with Inter and hope for a victory in the
final stages: there is a desire to save themselves and it shows.
PPC Alternate Councilor Maurizio Zucchi's Comment
The Parma that you don't expect draws with the league leaders, coming back
from two goals down and, with a bit more luck, could have won the game if
Pellegrino's sliding shot had not missed wide by a few centimeters. A good
first half by Parma who started off great and created two clear chances on goal
with Bonny and Man, but then due to complicit defensive errors and bad luck
found themselves down two goals. In the second half, Chivu made the right
substitutions and put on Bernabe, Pellegrino, and Ondreika; in ten minutes,
Parma scored two goals with Bernabe ed Ondreika, then coming close to a
deserved advantage with Pellegrino. If Parma is able to continue this type of
performance, they would certainly be saved.
