Domenica scorsa
abbiamo visto una bella partita tra il Parma ed il Napoli. Io ho avuto la
fortuna di andare alla partita e vedere il “nostro” Parma giocare dal vivo e
non sono rimasto deluso. Tutto era pronto per una grande battaglia: lo stadio
era pienissimo con i tifosi del Parma e del Napoli e l'atmosfera era elettrica
con forti applausi da parte delle due curve. Come dicevo nel mio precedente
commento, sapevamo che una squadra come il Napoli rappresentava una sfida
difficile e così è stato.
Non potevano cominciare
così meglio: una fuga iniziale ha colto di sorpresa il Napoli e Strefezza è
riuscito a segnare al primo minuto, dando al Parma il vantaggio. Poi le due
squadre si sono ambientate ed il Napoli ha avuto la maggior parte del possesso
palla ma anche il Parma ha fatto il suo, giocando con sicurezza: era evidente
quanto importante fosse, per i crociati, la partita. Il Parma è rimasto in
vantaggio fino all’intervallo, riuscendo a “zittire” persino la curva di
Napoli.
Purtroppo, la difesa
incessante chiaramente ha “stancato” i crociati ed al 60’ il Napoli è riuscito
a “forzare” la difesa, con McTominay che ha trovato lo spazio in area e
tirato forte. Tuttavia, i giocatori del Parma non si sono arresi e la partita è
proseguita con momenti esplosivi da parte di tutte e due le squadre: il Parma,
per esempio, ha avuto una grande occasione quando il portiere di Napoli è
uscito dall’area ma l’attaccante crociato non è arrivato in tempo… e la partita
è finita in parità. In conclusione, il Parma ha fatto un buon lavoro e
conquistato un punto contro la squadra seconda in classifica. Forza Parma!
Last Sunday we saw a beautiful game between Parma and Napoli. I was
fortunate enough to attend the game and see “our” Parma play in person, and I
wasn’t disappointed. Everything was set up for a great battle: the stadium was packed with both Parma and Napoli
fans and the atmosphere was electric with loud cheering from both ends. As I
was talking about in my earlier comment, we knew that a team like Napoli would
present a difficult challenge, and they were.
They couldn’t have started better: an early breakaway caught Napoli by
surprise and Strefezza was able to put one away in the first minute, giving
Parma the lead. Then both teams settled into the game with Napoli maintaining
the majority of possession, but Parma did their part, playing with confidence:
it was clear how much the game meant to them. They kept the lead going into
halftime, managing to silence the large number of Napoli fans.
Unfortunately, the constant defending clearly tired out the Crociate, and
in the 60’ minute Napoli was able to break through the defense when McTominay
found space at the top of the box and hit a well struck ball into the side
netting. The Parma players didn’t give up though, and the game continued with
both sides having breakaway moments: For example, there was a real chance for
Parma when the Napoli keeper came out of the box, but the Parma attacker didn’t
get there in time…and the game ended in a tie.
In summary, Parma did well, and a good result to take a point from the
second placed team in the league. Go Parma!
